Kirkcudbright Centre Staff Scale New Heights in Fundraiser

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lee Worrall and Scott Maclean, members of Kirkcudbright Training Centre, who successfully scaled Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, to raise funds for the Armed Forces charity, SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association); recognises the amazing work carried out by the charity that supports regulars and reserves in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force, and their families, as well as anyone who has completed National Service; acknowledges that Lee and Scott originally intended a target of £500 but have more than doubled that figure with money still being donated, and wishes them every success in their future fundraising adventures.
