Congratulating Buckie’s Roots for its Hard Work Building Community Spirit
The motion
That the Parliament commends the charity Buckie’s Roots for what it sees as the great work it does for the local community of Buckie, by running schemes aimed at making the town look cleaner and brighter; understands that in 2022 it will be undertaking a planting programme and "the rest and remember" bench at the Speyside Way; understands that Buckie’s Roots is a charity formed to help grow community spirit in Buckie through the regeneration of the green spaces around the town and that since February 2021 litter picking teams have collected 576.5 bags of litter; commends the local community and local businesses who help to support Buckie’s Roots through donations, and wishes all involved at Buckie’s Roots all the best for the future.
