Fearn Food Garden Restored Thanks to Local Community

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the work of the community that, it understands, helped to restore Fearn Food Garden in Easter Ross after Storm Corrie damaged the garden and polytunnel, leaving it in need of repair; understands that Fearn Food Garden donated grow-your-own kits of vegetable seeds to over 100 local families in 2021 and has also distributed over 2,500 free vegetable plants to the community and several schools; commends members of the local community who were quick to come to the aid of the garden, tidying it up and replanting vegetable plants that were upended by the storm, and hopes that Fearn Food Garden will long continue to provide valued community support.
