East Dunbartonshire Teenagers to Appear in West End Musical

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the work and the dedication of teenagers, Lucy McCutcheon of Milngavie, Daniel Haggerty of Kirkintilloch, and Finty Smith of Milngavie, who it understands will join stars from London’s West End in the show, Movies to Musicals, by the charity, Glasgow Philharmonia; understands that producer, Ross Gunning, has given thousands of youngsters an opportunity to become involved in the performing arts, and notes with concern reports that the COVID-19 pandemic has seriously affected the arts industry and that it is only now that many talented performers are able to showcase their talents to a live audience.
