Clydebank Ladies Rugby Football Club

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Clydebank Ladies Rugby Football Club on winning their first match and taking part in their first tournament; understands that coach, Ashley MacIver, of Clydebank, along with Captain Allison West, have assembled a team of 14 local players, and that they have a fantastic work ethic and plan for progression, which aims to encourage a new generation of female rugby players in the local area, and further understands that opportunities can be limited in women’s rugby and, therefore, considers that the pioneering spirit of the team should be appreciated and encouraged.
