Tain Youth Volunteer Named First Recipient of Ozan Kaymak Memorial Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Tain youth volunteer, Olivia Macleod, on being named the first recipient of the Ozan Kaymak Memorial award having been selected by the youth committee of Tain and District Youth Café YMCA; understands that the award was created in the memory of Ozan Maymak, a caring member of the youth committee, who passed away last year; further understands that Olivia, a member of the committee, which is made up of S1-S6 pupils from Tain Royal Academy, was voted for by other committee members for her commitment and help during meetings and various other drop-ins; considers that the YMCA youth café, which is a non-profit organisation, helps to empower and support children and young people, and wishes it well in future events.
