Holy Trinity Church Wester Hailes Celebrates 50th Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Holy Trinity Church in Wester Hailes on reaching its 50th anniversary; understands that the Church is located in, what it understands, is a diverse suburb of Edinburgh and attracts a wide range of worshipers, with a strong children and youth section and links to the local schools of Clovenstone, Canal View and Wester Hailes Education Centre (WHEC); considers that the Church has a strong community outreach focus, housing a Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre, Foodbank, Community Café and Bridge Counselling Service within its Church Halls, and wishes Holy Trinity Church well, in what it believes, is its vision to bring salvation and healing to the community of Wester Hailes and beyond.
