Helensburgh Community Council Opens Series of Business Webinars

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the initiative by Helensburgh Community Council on creating a series of Business Webinars on the theme of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship; understands that Chair of Helensburgh and Lomond Chamber of Commerce, Vivien Dance, opened the series and that she, along with other experts, assisted listeners in learning about how to set up a new business; acknowledges the hard work in creating a platform from where, it understands, new start ups and existing businesses can gain a head start in the post-pandemic environment, and considers that small businesses are the foundation of local economies.
