The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the charity, Finding Your Feet (FYF), on its new hub in Paisley, which opened on 2 March 2022; understands that the FYF hub will also provide a home to numerous other charities, including Home Start, We Are With You, Hillhead, Who Cares? Scotland and Renfrewshire Carers; commends FYF's staff, volunteers and founder, Corinne Hutton, who lost her hands and feet after contracting sepsis in 2013 and underwent a double hand transplant in 2019; notes that FYF supports families across Scotland who are affected by amputation or limb absence through a range of sporting initiatives and social inclusion projects designed to positively affect both physical and mental wellbeing; considers that the new hub will bring benefits to people in Renfrewshire and elsewhere in Scotland by providing a welcoming space and connecting charities with service users, and sends its best wishes for the future to FYF and the other charities in the new FYF hub.
