Michelin Star Restaurant for Glasgow

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow restaurant, Unalome, on being awarded a Michelin Star in the 2022 Michelin Guide; understands that Unalome is the first solo venture for the chef, Graeme Cheevers, who opened Unalome just eight months ago; welcomes that award-winning chef Graeme chose to open his first solo venture in his home city of Glasgow and that this is the second Michelin Star for the city of Glasgow; believes that this allows Glasgow to be recognised as having the highest number of Michelin-starred restaurants in Scotland outside the capital, and considers that this is an important accolade, which will benefit city tourism and economy.
