Congratulating Chris Laidlaw on Fundraising for Borders' Charities

The motion

That the Parliament recognises what it sees as that three worthy Borders' charities that have benefitted from the efforts of Chris Laidlaw, the former Jed-Forest, Boroughmuir and Scotland Club International stand-off, who ran 12 marathons in 12 months on their behalf; notes that Chris Laidlaw beat his original target of £12,000 and raised an impressive £26,000, more than double his goal; understands that Chris Laidlaw, son of former Scotland and Lions scrum-half, Roy Laidlaw, and cousin of recent Scotland captain, Greig Laidlaw, chose Alzheimer Scotland, Marie Curie, and the Murrayfield Injured Players Foundation as his chosen benefactors, and commends Chris Laidlaw on his tremendous fundraising efforts.
