National Butchers’ Week 2022
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes National Butchers’ Week 2022, which took place from 7 to 13 March 2022; notes that National Butchers’ Week highlights the great work being done by butchers from around the UK that sets them apart from the competition; understands that National Butchers’ Week also focuses on what it sees as the fantastic innovation that takes place within butchers’ shops across the land; acknowledges what it sees as the challenges that independent businesses have encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic, including butchers; reminds the public to support the local businesses at the heart of communities, including butchers, and congratulates everyone involved in National Butchers’ Week in Scotland and across the UK.
