Westerton Male Voice Choir Raises £22,000 for Alzheimer Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the efforts of Westerton Male Voice Choir on raising over £22,000 for the charity, Alzheimer Scotland; understands that the chairman, Ken MacLeod, and his team took part in a Kilt walk, online raffles, Burns Night suppers, Christmas concerts and various online gigs throughout lockdown in order to achieve what it sees as this fantastic and much-needed donation, and acknowledges the effort and commitment that goes into the ongoing charitable work being carried out by the choir.
