Boots Recycling Scheme

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the Recycle at Boots scheme, available in 700 stores across the UK, including Garthdee in Aberdeen; understands that the scheme allows people to recycle empty health, beauty and wellness containers in-store, which are difficult to recycle at kerbside, and then receive 500 Boots advantage card points, which can be used inside the store; further understands that the empty containers do not need to have been purchased or stocked at Boots; applauds what it sees as this fantastic initiative, with a million products already having been banked since the scheme started in 2020, and hopes that this work can continue in the future.
