Stonehaven Handler and Border Collie Crazee Win Crufts Championship 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Stonehaven resident, Euan Paterson, and his border collie, Crazee, on winning the Crufts Championship 2022; acknowledges, in particular, that Crazee won the dog agility contest by a millisecond, after what it sees as a hugely impressive run with handler Euan, and that she also came first in the international jumping event; recognises that Crufts, organised by the Kennel Club, is an annual event, which was first held in 1891; believes that it is a celebration of all dogs and the important role they play in people's lives; understands that Euan, who has been involved in dog agility training for more than a decade, has been training Crazee since she was a puppy; further understands that Euan considers her to be a dog in a million, thanks to her physical and mental ability; recognises that Crazee has competed both domestically and internationally; understands that, following Crufts 2022, Euan hopes to join Team Agility GB to compete in the European open and the world championships; notes that Euan and his wife, Sarah, run SO Agility in Stonehaven; believes that they bring their considerable experience and expertise to bear to help owners train their dogs and further build trust and confidence, and wishes Euan, Sarah and Crazee every success as they continue to compete throughout 2022 and beyond.
