Congratulating Jacek Zwizchlewski of A1 Border Moves

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates A1 Border Moves boss, Jacek Zwizchlewski, who, it understands, is taking one of his firm's trucks full of donated items from its base in Hawick to Poland; understands that Jacek called the Embassy of Ukraine to get an insight into what items are most needed, and then made an appeal on his personal Facebook page; further understands that Jacek has been inundated with offers to provide in-kind donations for Ukraine; acknowledges that people throughout the Scottish Borders have come together in what it sees as a massive outpouring of generosity, with a collection of items to provide relief for refugees escaping the Russian invasion of their country, and thanks Borderers for their efforts to support Ukraine.
