Rhu Primary School Pupils Raise £1,636.08 in Fundraising Challenge

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the efforts of pupils from Rhu Primary School, who have raised a magnificent £1,636.08 towards the cost of a charging station for school laptops; acknowledges what it sees as the hard work and commitment by the children to raise £22.22 each by 22.2.22; notes that the P5 class raised the highest amount of money, which amounted to £308.22; commends the initiatives taken by the children doing activities such as litter picks, baking and craft sales, and considers that children should be taught about giving to charity and volunteering from an early age.
