Lochlan Murdoch Announced as a Finalist in the Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the achievements of the local hero, Lochlan Murdoch, who has made the final three of the Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards 2022; celebrates the work of the local Cumnock charity, Lochlan’s Legacy; notes that the main aim of Lochlan’s Legacy is to raise awareness and understanding of the difficulties posed by type 1 diabetes in Scotland, particularly in football; acknowledges the impact that Lochlan’s charity has had on the local community and the inspiration that he has provided for young people across Scotland to make a difference; further acknowledges the work that his charity has done in providing support for people fleeing Ukraine who require type 1 diabetes supplies; applauds Lochlan for his great work, and wishes him good luck on 27 April when the Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards 2022 will be announced.
