Banchory First Scouts Raise £4,347 for Ukraine

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates 1st Banchory Scouts, who, it understands, have raised £4,347 for the Disasters Emergency Committee Humanitarian Ukraine Appeal, after completing a six mile sponsored hike and sleepover on 26 March 2022; understands that they have far exceeded the original fundraising target of £500, and commends the generosity of the Banchory community and all the young scouts, beavers and cubs, who, it understands, have given up their time to participate in and fundraise this phenomenal amount of money to help the humanitarian effort for those affected by the war in Ukraine.
