Paul Minter Running the Coastlines of the UK

The motion

That the Parliament commends Paul Minter, a UK Armed Forces Veteran, who is running the coastlines of the UK to raise funds for Head-Up, a mental health charity for the Armed Forces community; understands that this challenge will see Paul run over 5,000 miles across 218 days; recognises Paul’s efforts so far and acknowledges his completion of the section through the Highlands and the Moray Firth; notes that the funds raised will help Head-Up develop a holistic and positive seven-day retreat for all those who have served, and are still serving, in any service of the UK military, and who wish to improve their mental health; understands that Paul Minter has raised £24,186 so far in aid of this charity, and wishes him and Head-Up all the best in their ongoing fundraising efforts.
