Forth Valley Classic Car Show Returns, Maintaining its Support for Local Charities

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the return of the Forth Valley Classic Car Show, which, it understands will take place in Bridge of Allan's Games Park for the first time since 2019; understands that the show, which is run by the Stirling and District Classic Car Club, is set to commence on 8 May 2022 with more than 500 vehicles already registered to attend, including those from a wide variety of car clubs; further understands that the show has been an ever-growing event since its debut in 2005 and to date the Stirling and District Classic Car Club, which accommodates over 80 members, has donated more than £95,000 from show proceeds to 45 local charities with a view to continuing this support for its selection of charities again in 2022; understands that there will be a very wide range of vehicles on display, including commercials, motorcycles and modern classics, in addition to trade stands and autojumbles, and wishes Stirling and District as well as all the car clubs entering, in addition to every participant and visitor, all the very best for the show’s continued success.
