Martina Chukwuma-Ezike Elected as Rector of the University of Aberdeen

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Martina Chukwuma-Ezike for being elected as Rector of the University of Aberdeen; understands that the role is voted for by the students and dates back to the foundation of the University in 1495; notes that Martina Chukwuma-Ezike founded the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, which it understands is Scotland’s only dedicated asthma charity, and set up the first Asthma Support Centre in the UK to provide support services for people with asthma and allergies in the north east of Scotland, and wishes Martina Chukwuma-Ezike all the best for the future.
