Alzheimer Scotland's Tea and Blether Campaign

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Alzheimer Scotland’s Tea and Blether Campaign, which was launched on 16 April 2022; understands that this campaign has been launched ahead of Dementia Awareness week, which it understands takes place in May 2022; further understands that the charity has encouraged communities to hold a coffee morning-style event to raise funds and awareness for dementia; understands that Dementia Resource Centres will also run their own events to coincide with those happening across the country; understands that this campaign aims to get people talking, in the workplace, schools, at home or within the community about dementia and how to support those living with the illness, and praises Alzheimer Scotland for committing all funds raised to help to ensure that no-one faces dementia alone.
