Aberdeenshire Ascents

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the Aberdeenshire Ascents initiative; notes that this is a new cycle tourism initiative bringing together 10 of the region’s most challenging and iconic cycling routes, as voted by the local cycling community; understands that this initiative launched on 30 April 2022 and will invite keen cyclists to try and conquer all 10; notes that there are two ski stations on the list; considers that this makes this initiative stand out from the other parts of the UK, and hopes that the initiative is a great success.
