Dunfermline Islamic Centre Awarded £700 by the Asda Foundation

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Dunfermline Islamic Centre on being awarded £700 by the Asda Foundation's Bringing Communities Back Together fund through the Asda St Leonards store; acknowledges what is sees as the commitment that Asda shows in making the communities around its stores better places to live and work for its colleagues and customers; believes that, in 2021, as COVID-19 restrictions began to ease, the Foundation launched this new grant to reunite communities and celebrate togetherness, which makes grants of between £250 and £1,000 available to support community good causes and get activities back on track, and commends Asda stores and the Foundation for what it considers to be their tireless work for the welfare of their communities, customers and staff.
