Emergency One Ltd Secures Export Contract with France

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Cumnock’s Emergency One UK Ltd has secured a contract with Herault Fire Service to supply electric fire appliances; notes that Emergency One is the UK’s largest manufacturer of fire and rescue appliances; considers that it is leading the way in sustainable emergency vehicles, following the launch of the world’s first ever fully-electric fire appliance in October 2020; believes this to be part of its long-term goal to be carbon neutral by 2045; commends everyone involved on their hard work, leading to the securing of what it sees as this valuable contract, and wishes everyone well on their future developments.
