Helensburgh Chamber Orchestra Raises £1,085 for Christian Aid Charity

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the efforts of Helensburgh Chamber Orchestra for raising £1,085 for Christian Aid; understands that a concert was held at Helensburgh Parish Church, led by Christine Sinclair and conducted by David Bruce, for Haydn’s Symphony No. 101 and Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto, and acknowledges that the funds raised will go towards supporting refugees and projects that support climate change adaptation in the poorest nations in the world.
