Jenna Ross Appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jenna Ross of Tarland, Aberdeenshire, on being appointed a member of the Order of the British Empire in The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee honours list for her contribution to science and agriculture; understands that her research in malacology and nematology is world renowned and that she currently leads international development for the UK Government-funded Agri-Tech Centre, Crop Health and Protection (CHAP); further understands that she wants to use this recognition to champion career opportunities in agriculture and science and encourage the next generation in STEM subjects; believes this recognition to be thoroughly deserved, and hopes that her recognition will inspire the next generation of STEM students in the Aberdeenshire West constituency.
