Cystic Fibrosis Week 2022

The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges that, for 2022, Cystic Fibrosis Week runs from 13 to 19 June; understands that the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to uniting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by the condition, is highlighting this event with its Wear Yellow Day on 17 June to raise funds and awareness to help create a brighter future for people with cystic fibrosis; believes that over 10,800 people in the UK are living with cystic fibrosis, but that the condition is still widely misunderstood; considers that, as a result of this, initiatives such as Cystic Fibrosis Week and Wear Yellow Day are crucial in helping to focus attention on the condition, and wishes everyone involved in the event all the very best for its continued success.
