Congratulating Kathleen Sim BEM
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kathleen Sim of Dingwall, Ross-shire, on receiving the British Empire Medal from Her Majesty the Queen in the Platinum Jubilee Honours for services to charity; understands that she has run the charity shop Bits and Pieces in the town for over 30 years, providing support to well-known cancer charity, Highland Hospice; notes that since the shop has been open it has raised in excess of £1 million; commends Mrs Sim for all of her efforts, and sends very best wishes to her.
