Turning Point Scotland, North Lanarkshire
The motion
That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the outstanding work of Turning Point Scotland, based in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, for their continued support and hard work helping the people they support; notes that Turning Point Scotland is a service predominately providing self-directed support and has been designed to help people with a variety of different needs including physical and/or learning disabilities, autism, early onset dementia, mental health conditions and many others; further notes that the service has been running since 2012, working in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council, North Lanarkshire HSCP and all relevant social work departments, and praises the Turning Point service for providing what it sees as life-changing opportunities for involvement, dignity and inclusion to those who require support.
