Start Up Stirling Receives Queen's Award for Voluntary Service

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Start Up Stirling on receiving the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award given to volunteer groups in the UK; notes that Start Up Stirling was one of 244 awardees announced on 2 June 2022; further notes that Start Up Stirling was established in 1994 to assist local homeless people by providing packs of basic household items, cleaning items and non-perishable food as they started off a tenancy, and it has since adapted its services to provide three key focus areas of support, Start Up Foodbanks, Start Up Helper Packs and Start Up Support; commends the hard work of all volunteers at Start Up Stirling, and wishes them well with their future endeavours.
