Montrose FC Women Win Scottish Women's Championship North League

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Montrose FC Women on winning the Scottish Women’s Championship North League, in a season in which they went unbeaten; understands that, as well as winning the league, the team won Championship Team of the Year at the Scottish Women’s Football Awards, where the Montrose player, Aimee Ridgeway, won Championship North Player of the Year, and the coach, Craig Feroz, won Championship Coach of the Year; congratulates the club on becoming one of 20 clubs that will form the new Scottish Women’s Premier League, where it will be one of eight sides in Scottish Women’s Premier League Division Two, and wishes the team continued success for the upcoming season.
