Celebrating Big Noise Fallin's First Birthday

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates Big Noise Fallin's first birthday, which was marked by a Birthday Concert at Fallin Primary School; understands that Big Noise Fallin began in June 2021 as a new development from Big Noise Raploch, which was Sistema Scotland's first Big Noise programme; further understands that Big Noise is a programme that uses high quality music education and nurturing relationships to support children, young people and families to realise their potential, improving lives and strengthening communities; notes that Big Noise Fallin focuses on teaching brass instruments alongside a strong grounding in general musicianship with children in Primary 5, 6 and 7 at Fallin Primary through sessions in school and an after-school programme in the community, and wishes Big Noise Fallin well in seeking to replicate the positive impact on community cohesion as has been seen in Raploch.
