Kirkcaldy Charity, Greener Kirkcaldy, Awarded £2 million Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Greener Kirkcaldy on being awarded £2 million funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to continue its work with the Climate Action Fife project; understands that the charity has been working alongside local Fife communities by inspiring and informing them to take action on climate change; notes that Greener Kirkcaldy is leading the #ClimateActionFife project, which is a five-year Fife-wide partnership project with 12 cross sector partners, and commends the charity for its collaboration with 12 partners that include Bikeworks ltd, CLEAR Buckhaven and Methil, Edible and Tasty Spaces Rosyth (EATS), Fife Communities Climate Action Network, Fife College, Fife Council, Fife Coast and Countryside Trust, People Learning About Nature in Tayport (PLANT), St Andrews Environmental Network (StAndEN), Transition University of St Andrews, and Youth 1st, in an effort to tackle climate change.
