Aberdeen Selected to Host World Energy Council Summit

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen on being selected by the World Energy Council to host the Energy Trilemma Summit and 2022 Executive Assembly; recognises that the summit will be themed on "transformational solutions in turbulent times" and will be attended by representatives from the world’s energy community; is pleased that Aberdeen is being recognised for its efforts to transition to green energy, and is encouraged to hear that discussions will be held seeking transformational solutions to address the energy trilemma of security, affordability, and environmental sustainability.
