McMonagles Fish and Chips Boat Clydebank Wins Best Restaurant Takeaway Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates McMonagles Fish, Chips and Pizzeria Restaurant Clydebank on being awarded the Best Restaurant Takeaway at the Scottish Takeaway Awards 2022, understands that the 30-year-old family business is owned by John and Agnes McMonagle and run by daughter, Debbie and son-in-law, Chris; notes that the boat was specially custom made in Campbeltown to serve as a restaurant on the canal; praises the restaurant staff who, it understands, create most of the dishes from scratch daily including steak pies, pizza and macaroni, acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the family and staff who have helped make this business a success for three decades, and wishes the business long term success and growth over the coming years.
