Kirkcaldy Marks 60-Year Anniversary of Twin Town Association with Ingolstadt

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the 60-year anniversary of the Kirkcaldy/Ingolstadt twin town link; understands that the Kirkcaldy Ingolstadt Association has invited the 19-strong Ingolstadt beer festival band, Hampara, to Kirkcaldy to perform at various venues throughout the town; further understands that Hampara will perform at Styx before teaming up with Kirkcaldy and District Pipe Band for an anniversary concert at the Old Kirk; acknowledges that previous visits have seen them perform at a packed festival marquee in the town square, but that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this has not been the case for several years; wishes Hampara and the Kirkcaldy Ingolstadt Association all the best for the future, and celebrates the next 60 years of the twin town association between Kirkcaldy and Ingolstadt.
