Festival of Biodiversity 2022 from the University of Stirling and Scotland’s International Environment Centre

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the Festival of Biodiversity 2022 from the University of Stirling and Scotland’s International Environment Centre; understands that the Festival, which is to be held over three full days from 16 to 18 September 2022 at both the University of Stirling and throughout Stirling and Clackmannanshire, will focus on celebrating and raising the profile of biodiversity; understands that there will be face-to-face events, including presentations from experts, field events to explore local havens, in addition to workshops and activities to engage and enlighten visitors; further understands that the festival is set to bring together experts and like-minded organisations to deliver an inspiring, engaging event that fosters learning, inspiration, and wonder about biodiversity, which is intended to provoke relevant and meaningful conversation; commends everyone involved for arranging such an important event, and wishes all the hosts, exhibitors and visitors every possible success.
