Lily Kelman from Inverness Becomes Highland Dancing World Champion

The motion

That the Parliament commends 15-year-old Lily Kelman, from Dalneigh, Inverness, for being crowned Juvenile World Champion at the Cowal Highland Gathering in Dunoon for Highland Dancing; notes that Lily, an Inverness High School pupil, qualified for the event after winning the Scottish Championships in the same venue earlier in 2022; understands that Lily won her first Highland Dancing event at 11 years old and has the Junior world title as her next goal, and further wishes Lily success in future competitions.
