Kings are Camanachd Cup Winners
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kingussie Camanachd Club on its 3-1 win in the 2022 Camanachd Cup Final, which was held at the Dell in Kingussie for the first time since 1999; recognises the effort of all teams who took part in the knockout cup; offers commiserations to Lovat Shinty Club, which came second in the competition; acknowledges the cultural significance of shinty to the Highlands of Scotland, and wishes players, volunteers, the Camanachd Association and all who contribute to the sport well for the future.
