Strathcarron Singers' Autumn Concert at Dollar Academy for Strathcarron Hospice

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that the Strathcarron Singers are set to host their autumn concert in Clackmannanshire; understands that the choir, which includes members who are associated with Strathcarron Hospice whether they be staff or supporters, will be putting the concert on at Dollar Academy on 2 October 2022, from 2.30 pm; believes that the choir has been raising much-needed funds for the hospice since 2004, and will be joined by special guest soloists from Dollar Academy, meaning there will be a varied programme of music and song; notes that the concert is free to attend, and there will be an opportunity to donate to the hospice and support its work in palliative care; commends the sterling work of the Singers and the Hospice, and wishes everyone involved all the very best for the event.
