The Laird’s Table Shortlisted as Best Eatery Experience Finalist in West Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament commends East Ayrshire restaurant, The Laird's Table, on being named as a regional finalist in the Best Eatery Experience category in the 2022-23 Scottish Thistle Awards; understands that the awards champion innovation, collaboration and sustainable practices and that entrants must have evidenced their commitment to sustainable and low-carbon practices upon application; further understands that tourism is worth £11.5 billion to the Scottish economy, including roughly £1 billion every year spent on food and drink tourism; applauds The Laird’s Table for its focus on using local produce, shortening the supply chain from farm to table, and wishes it every success in the finals and beyond.
