Shona Black Receives Recognition in Paths for All Volunteer Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Shona Black from Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), who was crowned as one of 11 winners at the Paths for All Volunteer Awards on 28 September 2022; commends Shona on her award for Health Walk Volunteer of the Year and recognises her efforts in creating and organising regular health walks in her local community; understands that the health walks were designed for blind and partially sighted people to help support their physical and mental health and wellbeing by staying active and reducing social isolation, and recognises what it sees as the fantastic achievements of a dedicated volunteer for her outstanding contribution to the community, working towards a shared vision of healthier, happier, and greener Scotland.
