The Larder

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates The Larder on being shortlisted in the Supporting Youth Employability category of the prestigious 2022 SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration; notes that the awards identify and celebrate best practice, innovation and achievement in interventions that improve Scottish communities; further notes that the Supporting Youth Employability category recognises best practice in skills and employability support to help young people aged 16-29 years fulfil their potential; recognises that the Livingston-based project provides educational and work pathway support for young people who are unable to identify their next step, addressing topics such as cookery, employability, resilience, trauma, mental-health, team building and confidence, and wishes The Larder all the best at the 2022 SURF Awards when the winners are revealed at a presentation event on the evening of 8 December 2022.
