Positive Steps Kemnay Named as Health Walk Group of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates Positive Steps Kemnay on being named Health Walk Group of the Year at Scotland’s national walking charity Paths for All’s Volunteer Awards 2022; understands that the group began in 2014 to encourage the community to join for socialisation and exercise, uses 15 risk-assessed routes, and has gained a Cancer and Dementia Friendly accreditation from Paths for All; notes that Positive Steps Kemnay received the award at the Scottish Parliament on 28 September 2022, and wishes them continued success in improving their community’s physical, mental and social health through an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
