Tracey Hogarth - Finalist Food Entrepreneur of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament commends Tracey Hogarth on becoming a finalist in the Scottish Women’s Awards 2022 in the category of Food Entrepreneur of the Year; notes that the awards recognise influential and hardworking women making a change in industries across Scotland; understands that the Stewarton-based brand is the first UK brand to market snack products made from fresh produce that does not meet the standard shape and size requirements of leading supermarkets and would otherwise end up as food waste; applauds Tracey’s vision to provide a healthier alternative to traditional snacks while reducing her business’ environmental impact, and wishes her all the best at the awards in late October.
