Kinnesswood in Bloom Beautiful Scotland Awards 2022 Success

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kinnesswood in Bloom for its exceptional success at the Beautiful Scotland Awards 2022; understands that Kinnesswood in Bloom has achieved a 2022 Gold Certificate in the categories of Best Small Village in Scotland, and Discretionary Young People Award; commends the bloom group for its connection with the local primary school, where group members work with the children to show and help them to understand about gardening, the local environment and how to use recycled products; understands that this scheme has been described by Beautiful Scotland as the benchmark for all primary schools to follow; further understands that the aim of the group is to make the village a great place to live, and that there is a strong partnership with people who live in the village, both with financial help and caring for the garden and the village, and wishes the Kinnesswood in Bloom group continued success in the future.
