River Garden Wins Community Champion Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all at River Garden, Auchincruive, on winning the Community Champion category at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards; notes that the awards took place on 14 October 2022 and were held at The Princes Royal Suite at Ayr Racecourse; understands that River Garden was one of three finalists in the category; further understands that its application received positive feedback from the judges during the selection process; recognises that River Garden is a charity that helps people in the early stages of recovery from addiction through training and social enterprise; acknowledges the work of the charity benefits the wider community and offers residents the chance to turn their lives around, recognising their talents and adapting their skills; wishes the residents the very best for their future endeavours, and further wishes the volunteers, supporters and staff well as they continue this vital support work.
