Knit for Peace Bearsden and Milngavie Keep Warm Project

The motion

That the Parliament commends the efforts of the Knit for Peace Group in Bearsden and Milngavie, which has been providing hand-knitted TV blankets for children and lap blankets for care home residents; appreciates the efforts of the voluntary group, which is keen to help folk stay warm this winter; understands that the blankets will be distributed within the surrounding area and that the recipients are very thankful for the blankets, and applauds the efforts of group members and those who donate materials to make the project a success.
